Enjoy your Half-Term Holiday!
All staff and pupils have been working so hard this week leading up to half-term. We know they all deserve a good rest.
Thank you to all parents who made time to attend their review meetings. These are such a valuable way for us to share information with you.
Read this newsletter to find out about the Family Homework, ideas for the holidays and news from Edith including about Enrichment Clubs, upcoming Coffee Mornings and school lunches.
As the half term break begins, we would like to remind you of our Safeguarding advice and rules regarding your child's use of their Chromebook. Please ensure they are using it for school learning on Sumdog, Times Tables Rockstars, Bug Club and other school recommended websites.
- Please ensure that you are able to read all the messages your child sends and receives on Google Handouts
- Remind your child that they should only be communicating about their learning and with children of their own age group.
- Monitor your child's use of the internet and check which websites they are using. Make sure your child is in a public space in your home when they are online.
- Ensure that they are not left alone if they are using any video chat function and are only doing so with your permission.
DO limit screen time and ensure your child gets lots of fresh air and exercise.
We hope you have a safe and happy time over the holiday, enjoying the parks and museums where you can.
