Year 6 have made a great start to their remote learning this term. We have been impressed with their ability to work independently and their excellent organisation skills. Their online presentation has improved significantly too - well done Year 6!

In Reading Comprehension, the children have studied ‘Oliver Twist’ and  ‘The Storm Keeper’s Island’. If you are interested in finding out more about ‘The Storm Keeper’s Island’, ask your child to show you the prologue and to tell you what they have learnt from that chapter. The children have also started to learn about how the British Empire was created and the impact this had on people around the world. They will be learning more about this once they return to school.
