Police Careers Assembly
An informative visit from two police officers
Maybe we will choose policing as our careers?
As we continue with our Careers Month, we’ve had more volunteers come into school to talk to the children about the job they have, what they enjoyed and studied at school as well as any difficulties they overcome along the way. This week Officer Murphy and Officer Hu took part in an assembly this week where we discussed their careers as police officers.
The children found it fascinating to learn that Officer Hu actually started a career in journalism before changing careers to become a police officer (even as adults we are encouraged to ‘Try New Things’).
Parents, if you (or someone you know) would be willing to speak to the children about your career then we’d like to hear from you! Please contact the main school office and they’ll take your details.
